It's, uhm, no substitute for a proper antibiotic and notifying your recent partners.

JK. I would slice (if possible) or chop them very fine unless they are quite dry enough to crumble more readily, in which case I would grind them. cover with boiling water and let them steep covered until cool enough to drink. add lemon and honey if you like.

TY canid!!! Great info and lol very funny im feeling a tad ill lately and thought it could t hurt. I ate some goose liver i had in the fridge left uncovered and thought maybe it made me sick. The more I thought about it it was a stressful night last night and this caused some liquid number 2 and stomach pains. Im a hypochondriac and think I have everything I read enough about lol. I read and article saying if your experiencing stomach upset that goes away after a small meal it could be you have a bacterial infection in your intestines kidneys or liver! Scared me a bit. I feel way better now but still would like to try this recipe. Thanx again!

I took some antibiotics and think its helping. I haven't felt sick at all since yesterday. My number 2 is back to normal. It could me toxins in my bloodstream from the vast mushrooms Ive eaten such as puffballs, Maitake and shaggy mane. Who knows what people sump in the woods or their yards before I come along and pick the mushrooms for consumption. I am learning to be extra careful about these things. My biggest worry is amatoxin poisoning. I already take three kinds of meds. That are hard on my kidneys. Even tho mushrooms like Maitake have cancer fighting and other health benefits, it still doesnt mean they cant be grown from toxic soil

When you're making a tea out of any medicinal conk mushroom, you need to boil the material for 2 hours. If you just steep it for a bit, you'll only get a cup of smelly water, possibly riddled with bacteria.
