They are not a Psilocybe but they might be Panaeolus cinctulus.

A spore prints are made from one or more of the muhsrooms, by picking or cutting the stem off of the cap, and placing it gills down on a piece of paper. this can be covered with a cup or bowl and allowed to sit for 3 to 12 hours, untill it's spores fall onto the paper heavily enough to get a very clear deposit, and discern their color.

Your muhsrooms are indeed a Panaeolus species, and very well may be P. cinctulus.

Attn PWN hunters: If you should come across a bluing Psilocybe matching P. pellicolusa please smell it.
If you detect a scent reminiscent of Anethole (anise) please preserve a specimen or two for study and please PM me.

No reason you couldn't. I can't, because I'm several hundred miles from there and not planning immediate travel in that direction, lol.

There are no known toxic Panaeolus so yeah if you'd like to that would probably be okay, and if a TI told you what your mushrooms are you are probably safe.

Reddish-brown stems are P. cintulus for sure. The other ones are probably them as well, but spore print would tell apart from P. foenisecii.

That is not always true! :oldman2:
I've found both Panaeolus olivaceus and papilionaceus that had reddish stems.

Yeah; those with the pale stipes resemble P. foenisecii a lot, but I don't often find them outside of lawns.

Okay... But look at 'em! There is no way they're paps... olivaceus would be cool, but that's a stretch perhaps. I'd put money on cinctulus. :manofapproval:
