Don't. Just use regular tap water.

Cakes don't want to take a bath in peroxide just as much as you don't want to take a bath in rubbing alcohol.

A alcohol bath is pretty relaxing.

Use regular tap water or filtered water if you have it. Do not use distilled or H2O2 mix.

they already answered your question, i just want to point out that the sterility is important only in certain phases, mostly when mycelium is colonizing substrate (rye, brf or whatever)*, once you procede to fruiting conditions you cant ensure sterile environment nor is it required because mycelium is quite resistant.

*this doesnt apply to everything, mixing colonized rye with substrate for example is not sterile procedure (usually)

Distilled water only gets used in this hobby for making spore syringes.

Everything else can be done with tap water.

Distilled water leaches minerals out of everything it touches.

lmao  ouch. I know I'm making some mistakes, but more like tweaking the environment to get my cakes to pin. I'm sure its just impatience, today is the 7th day in my SGFC.  I think that I have been misting much too heavily though - little puddles on top of the cakes after misting for the past couple days.  I changed it up this afternoon to like 6 squirts from the spray bottle.
Here is a pic from 3 days ago and there has been basically no change:

Mist the cakes directly with a fine mist until they glisten, then fan out the chamber.

Mist again once the water you previously applied has evaporated.
