Degrading Syrian Rue?

Okay, here is the thing. We all know that the potency of mushrooms degrade after time due to contact with the air. Well what about syrian rue? Does this degrade after time? I have had it for some time (2years) and it still works just like new......

harmaline is pretty stable and it is also in seeds which protects it better. 4hodmt is a pretty unstable chemical to begin with, plus it comes it mycelium fruit bodies which are very sensitive.

freshly harvested caapi vines & vine samples collected 150 years ago by amazon explorer richard spruce had similar alkaloid contents
