Cyanesence pick at local park
    #19011382 - 10/21/13 11:27 PM (10 years, 3 months ago)

Just wanted to share with you guys a local pick in a park in Seattle. I haven't weighed it all out yet, but I have already set aside 100g of wet weight shrooms to be dried underneath a space heater (sort of like a warm fan). Those 100g aren't even in the picture. I've never come across so many shrooms in my life  Hell, I've never eaten more than 1.5 dry before. Time for some fun.

That's a nice pile of complete blur.

If you detect a scent reminiscent of Anethole (anise) please preserve a specimen or two for study and please PM me.

Can't ID those at all.

I don't think this was meant to be an ID request. We'll just assume dude knows what he's doing.

In other news, a species of mushroom native to western Washington was added to the endangered species list today...

Sorry, when I previewed them on the board, it didn't show the same scale as when it was posted. I posted different pics and resized so they weren't so blurry. Unfortunately I'm stuck with my phone's shitty camera...

It was only a fraction of the shrooms that were there

Not so shabby, eh?

I commend the relative absence of pins. It demonstrates respect.

Not to mention the absence of substrate and mycelium.  They all look cleanly cut.

I think the 18th mushroom from the left and 20 down in the top photo might not be right!

(PS: Nice find)
