so, been walkin' scoutin' for deer in N.E. Arkansas, most of these just id's just need pics, and are just a small sample of the stuff i've been seeing. Have learned to carry walmart/shopping bags in my pockets after a couple rainy days, and i filled 3 of them in 2 hours w. boletes, honeys, lions mane, and puffballs beyond belief. not to mention the various slime molds: witches butter everywhere, kinda been eating it sometimes, hope it's safe enough. also found some fried chickens too maybe.
species 1:
i'm pretty sure these b honey's, and just waiting for conformation before i start cooking. Growing on roots, several different groups.
i saw some similar looking mushies growing elsewhere (with out glasses on), but they were growing alone not in clumps, and the stems were really long, so i couldn't feel for roots. were these, or could have these been honey's too? just askin'

species 2:
so obviously these are coral mushrooms, but are they edible var. there are at least 6 dif. groups where i found these.

species 3:
lions mane is everywhere,

species 4:
ive been seeing these lately. are they fried chicken looking?

species 5:
then i found these orange hairy 'oyster looking' mushrooms in several different spots, mostly on old pine logs.

species 6:
the digital camera has some problems with yellow/orange colors, and the cap on this one has an orange tinge that doesn't come across. it has been raining, so i don't know if this one is just rain bleached or not. I've id'd cookerei and sub.s on this site, as well as many other white amanita's. but this one looks a lil different. esp. the orangish tint on the cap that doesn't come out in the pics.

thanks in adavanced, this site has given me the courage to identify over 30 species of edible and medicinal mushrooms in the forest behind the house. i've found hundreds of different mushrooms in the process, and had no idea what a mushroom freak i'd become....

Attn PWN hunters: If you should come across a bluing Psilocybe matching P. pellicolusa please smell it. If you detect a scent reminiscent of Anethole (anise) please preserve a specimen or two for study and please PM me.

Well there needs to be a distribution center as the first stop, where all the samples go out from there. I will do that part.
