After a few weeks vegging the top is tied down. As another branch becomes the new top then it is tied down to the edge of the bucket/planter Repeat until all tops are of an even height. As string or wire is used, the ties can be easily tightened or loosened to adjust height.
Here is a picture (not mine) that shows much clearer what is going on:

This is linear LST (low stress training). This technique was borrowed from the tomato world and adapted for cannabis.

It is in a 5 gallon Lowes bucket, DWC style. I use cheap, generic dry nutes (QuickGrow). No need for expensive bloom boosters and root conditioners, colorful labels and all that BS.

All bent nice, less stress. I never got into the big brands ether. I used floranova nutes they worked fine for me and never needed the veg because the soil gave me all i needed. Next time i will give them some added molasses.

Molasses is for the microbes and does not directly feed the plant. Some idiots think it makes the buds sweeter.

The chlorophyll must be leached out first if you are going to physically mix the two.
Before cannabis wine was the Green Dragon which is cannabis soaked in vodka. How this fail became popular is beyond me. Sure, it packs a punch, but with horrid flavor as the Green part is nothing but chlorophyll.

People love to complicate things. It is beyond simple. Get ahold of some pure grain alcohol (vodka contains too much water). Chill both the alcohol and the marijuana (dried or fresh) in the freezer for several hours. Trim or schwag may be used but will obviously require a greater amount than quality buds.
Get a funnel, a clean bottle and a gold screen coffee filter. http://www.amazon.com/s/?ie=UTF8&keywords=coffee+filters+gold&tag=mh0b-20&index=aps&hvadid=3481293694&ref=pd_sl_17fdkebr6y_b
Crumble the frozen pot by hand into the filter. Pack it fairly tight. Pour the grain alcohol over the herb. If using a small amount of alcohol, using the same alcohol, pour it over a second time being sure to mix the herb up a bit to expose fresh areas. If using a large amount of alcohol, a single run should be enough. Squeeze the wet pot to get the last bit of alcohol out.
Why such a short time? Longer exposure starts to pull useless chlorophyll and waxes into the mix.
Get a second clean bottle. Put a paper coffee filter into the funnel and pour the liquid through. This gets rid of the empty trichome husks and any particulate matter. It may take several hours to drain.
Toss the plant material as there is very little left of value.
That's it. Mix with vodka or keep separate. Proportions depend on amount and strength of the herb. Be careful until you are familiar with the potency.

Water curing pot gets rid of chlorophyll and most terpenoids. Afterwards it may be dried and smoked. The high is the same, but there is little flavor and the smell is greatly reduced.

Interesting, so since the goodies in cannabis aren't water soluble you can soak it in water and then dry it to remove excess tiny's?

Why keep notes, when you can just post your grow on a public site?
LST. Yippee. Grew one small plant in a 5 gallon pail and made it look pretty. Great. Inorganic chemicals for the freaking loss. Oh sure you probably "flushed" it. Cause otherwise the gak attak would have been too much. As an accumulator, adding toxic laden fertilizer just end up in you regardless of the "flush". Yeah great the plastic pail and the plastic fertilizer was cheap. Your plasticized plant is perfection in all ways. You controlled it.
Yippee.

OC, my brother, that is one beautiful plant. Major Congratulations!
Back in the early '70s through the early '90s I grew my own in closets under 4' fluorescent work lights. Never got anything as nice looking as that, but strangely enough, I grew some killer smoke.
I never went into flowering phase, and the only thing I smoked was the growing tips. I had between 4 and 7 plants growing, spent only about 30 min a day fooling with them, and yet, once those tips got (slowly) dried enough to smoke, they were great smoke!
It took a while to build up a supply, but the plants (fertilized only with spray-on fish fertilizer) cooperated, and by 6 months in, I had enough to share with my friends and make brownies regularly.
Good days. The last 20 years have not been conducive to stealth growing and I'm at the mercy of the market and all that that entails for a septuagenarian.
In other words, it sucks. Whether sativa or indica, I haven't smoked anything over a 6.5 (out of 10) in over 20 years. Sucks rocks, among other unmentionable things...

There are certain objects in reality that may be the word perfect brought to life. Somethings revive our sense of not acknowledging things assembled with a perfection which cannot be readily denied without the person falling prone to admitting the truth that he couldn't accept readily.
I know that some realities correspond to a perfection otherwise unattainable, as if, the more you long for this greater vision of a reality in which you had no part for the creation of its glory/splendor, you discover in yourself exactly the things which were perfect but which you denied referring to as perfect for whatever reason.
Perhaps it may be because we are inclined to ignoring the aspects of ourselves which appear to vividly contrast so many flavors of perfection which manifest so clearly, so distinctly without any signs of any contradictions presenting themselves, that, indeed, to deny your perfection while in the eyes of a god whom has granted you that perfection.
