I had a cat a few years ago, unfortunately she died prematurely - but anyways there used to be this white cat that I'd see around after I got her. She was an indoor/outdoor cat(she insisted on it and I guess this was her friend(or they used to fuck, idk).
But the last few times I've been at my parents house i've been seeing that same white cat slinking around the house again, makes me sad, I feel bad for it. It's kind of eerie, though.

Cats are super-weird in part because they are like people.
Dillinger is the slow but super-sweet twin. Yardley is the pretty twin and sort of an asshole. He hid for a week in embarassment after getting a nick on his ear in a tussle. They are both lap cats.
I believe Mr. Beaumont secretly body builds while we're at work. He's a beast of a cat that requires two techs to restrain him at the vet. He's also paranoid.
Lilee Lambchop (d.b.a. "Schmalls") is the youngest, a calico, and rules the house with the iron paw of cuteness.
Never a dull moment.

I used to have a cat that my girlfriend at the time wanted me to have when I lived at my parents. He was an awesome cat, quite the hunter. He came and went as he pleased mostly. Unfortunately one day while I was at school one of our sicko neighbors shot it with an arrow and it was going to be way more money than I had at the time to attempt to keep him alive so my father had him put down. After that the girlfriend again wanted me to have a cat so we got another almost all black kitten with a little white spot on his tummy. He grew into a real fatty that requires special food because of I guess the cat equivalent of kidney stones. Anyway, one day a near twin of the first cat of that was shot with an arrow showed up at my parents house and basically refused to leave. We honestly think he was Stryfe's (the first kitty) offspring with a feral neighborhood cat. He is also quite the hunter, but he's not really one to want attention very often, probably something to do with having a feral mother.
Anyway, several years later after I moved to another state, one day after work this sweet little kitty was hanging around outside the gate. Amazingly enough when I called to it he came running up, so I decided to take him home because he looked malnourished, but was as sweet as could be. The wife (the previous girlfriend, now ex-wife) and I already had two cats so as cold hearted as it might sound I would have dropped him off right back where I found him, but she was quite the animal lover as well so we kept him. Turns out he had been bitten on his scrotum at some point and the wounds just never healed, apparently it was infected. So we took him to the vet and the vet's prognosis wasn't real good, he basically said we could treat him with antibiotics and see if that knocked out the infection and if not, there wasn't just a whole lot to be done for him inexpensively, but even the vet commented on his sweetness and that you could tell he really appreciated the loving and our attempts to help him. Fortunately the antibiotics worked and his wounds healed up. In another unfortunate twist of fate for the poor kitty we had him neutered the week before we were moving from Mississippi to Georgia so he had to suffer a move while still healing from the surgery, and on top of that he was a cryptorchid, meaning they only found one testicle in his scrotum. Unfortunately I have not been able to afford further surgery for him to see if the other testicle just never dropped or what. I am well aware that if he has the other testicle it is prone to cancer and will quite probably shorten his life span appreciably, but finances dictate there is not much I can do for him. During the divorce the ex-wife tried to pawn all three cats off on me, but I refused so she took the two she brought into the relationship back with her.
Dexter came with me, he's the one you see in my avatar. He's small for a full-grown cat, but that is probably due to having had such a hard youth between the infection and being abandon. He is way too social and affectionate to have come from feral parents. He and his "brother", my ex's male cat were great buddies and I kind of hated separating them, but I couldn't take all three and neither would my ex. He's sitting in my lap as I type this. He's a little spoiled now as the ex and I did not allow the cats in our bedroom, but now he gets to sleep with me. Every time I come home he greets me at the door wanting attention. He is a part of my sanity at the moment as the divorce was not a mutual thing, but that is a whole other story. He is such a polite cat. He always deferred to the other two kitties when it came to getting attention previously, but now its all about him since he's my only kitty. I am thankful to have him as it would be an even lonelier life without him. He'll paw at me or my hands when he wants attention, and even tends to respond to his name and can tell from the tone of my voice whether or not he's being bad or if I just need to be left alone.
