North Carolina Cubes found? please someone help ID

Habitat: High grass that died and fell over
Gills: Dark Purple/Brown Color, attached/not, gills/pores, etc.
Stem: White/tanish
Cap: Golden with Brown point on top on some of the older fruits.
Spore print color: In process
 Very important!
Bruising: Color that the mushroom bruises, if any.
Other information: Scent of the mushroom, anything else you think is important, large close-up pictures showing stem, cap and gills.

It is an unclear shot but I think Lacrymaria velutina is likely. Not cubes.

someone from NC help me, I was thinking about going by the local college mycology department to find a college student who might be an avid hunter! are pan subs common in the Triad of NC?

Perhaps it would be easier to join a mycological society.

Now that you have the info on what grows there you are not allowed to ask what active mushrooms grow there. Well, maybe not this. That list is incomplete. There are active Panaeolus species there as well.
Nor are you allowed to ask about their habitat. You have to read about it.
It will take 20mins of your day.
If you do ask I will imagine slapping you really hard. Then Ill send those slaps to your face with mind bullets.
