Stopping shrooms from touching the sides?

Hey guys,
Has anyone had any experience with ways of stopping fruits from growing towards the sides or at least mitigating circumstances of them touching?
I've been using a supa-gro kit (yes sorry PF tekkers), didn't use their bag as it was reported unreliable and been growing in a small plastic container I've equipped with a small thermometer and generally mist 3-4 times daily and alloy for FAE.
here's a pic of the current growth and as you can see there's not a huge amount of room for error.

Any help you guys can give would be much appreciated!

No, that looks like unhealthy growth to me.
Looks like the substrate is contammed...
Good fruits, not so healthy mycellium...

really? I thought the veiny, stringy stuff is what you wanted, not the puffy fuzz, and that looks like pretty vieny, healthy mycilium created those nice fruit body's, and it's pretty hard to contaminate the mcyelium anyways once fully colonized from my understanding.

The mycellium is not supposed to be that "stringy".
When it stretches out like that it's usually trying to get away from something.
Just sayin.

I would, that does not appear to be rhizo growth, rather the mycelium looks stressed, that branching suggests a bacterial contam IMO.

oh.. Well I'm still learning, I've been off and on into shrooms my whole life. But I'm always willing to take them, they are just so damn hard to find where I'm from.

Well don't kno about that to be honest. There's no discernible odour coming from the fruiting chamber and there's no discolouration of the substrate. The base of the grow kit is transparent and the whole base and sides are well covered. I agree with the fact that it seems to be patchily covered on top but don't think it's contaminated to be honest. Anything else I should be on the lookout for?

look how the mushies refuse to grow where the strings are in the first pic. It looks like it's actually killed a mushroom in the middle of the pic, a little to the right side.
I'm with hacker on this one, it doesn't look too good.

Well the primordia formed first on the three clusters you see here, the smaller individual ones (such as the one you mentioned) only sprouted this morning and that growth is the 9 hours between then and now. I'll update with a post tomorrow morning with how they're doing. I'm keeping the faith :P
Also worth mentioning the three clusters started on the centres of the mycelium (i.e. the dead centre of parts where the mycelium is "running away")
