Habitat: They were all over underneath new pines
Gills: white

Looks to be.
I sometimes wonder if we are getting amanita frostiana mixed in with muscaria finds. Google amanita frostiana and you'll see what I mean

Damn. Yea that is a real possibility. What are the defining differences? I suppose A Frostiana is not toxic then?

You've got some persicinas for sure. The ones with the white warts are for sure. (They probably all are persicina, but I just wanted to give food for thought)
The ones that may be in question would have yellow warts

Check this out. I found it back in the summer. The more I think about it... this could be the A. frostiana.... I wish I had done a better job at digging up the bulb. Fuck.

GA is a little south forĀ A. Frostiana. Guessowii, eh, maybe. Persicina, likely.
