anyone eaten Russula brevipes?
    #19003442 - 10/20/13 11:21 AM (10 years, 3 months ago)

I have a TON of these growing around my house. I've heard they are "undesirable." I'm wondering if anyone has any experience eating them, and if so...

any good recipes?

supposedly they're as bland as can be, but i've never had them unlobsterized.  the other day when i was walking between some of my other edible patches i saw a ton of them an was wondering what they're like too, but maybe i'll have to wait for the next big famine before i find out.
