Nope. Not poisonous either, but as you picked it, you may have noticed that it has the texture of a car tire and is probably just as easy to digest.

Not edible,But it is medicinal, also known as the Razor strop, one of the species Otzi the iceman had on him!

My friend slices and dries these and keeps them in a jar for tea. The tea tastes a bit mushroomy over the fragrance. Anyway enjoy.

Also good to collect in quantity (it fruits in the dozen 'round here) and make paper from.

I don't think I'm mistaken in saying that a few people like to eat the very young ones - sliced thinly. I've not tried this myself but a quick google should bring some input up.

Nah i dont think those are young, besides they feel pretty tough...

1. Put tea in hot water
2. Strain tea
3. Drink water

Ain't nuffin I can't do when I put my mind to it innit. :wink:
