No. Fuck that. Eat lots of fruits and veggies, make yourself yogurt smoothies, learn to cook with vegetables, and look into different ethnic cuisines that stray from the meat and potatoes thing.
Cook some motherfucking delicious food. I've done the bare cabinets thing in the past when I was living mainly off of amphetamines and eating out at restaurants a lot, and it sucks and is expensive.
Just equip yourself with some basic cooking skills or a crock pot and you will be set.
simple carbs will give you by far the best energy and will lean you out. not to mention that it is fast food and not the kind that will leave you weighing over three hundred pounds

I like fat girls who are intelligent and fit. This only mildly eccentric on its own, but it's further complicated by my gender. The one time in my entire goddamned life I met such a woman who was understanding and appreciative, I was completely unfamiliar with the stakes involved; I behaved aloof, and I took her completely for granted. Then she married some neckbearded nerd and moved to New Hampshire. Then I cried. A lot.

Yah, I know, I eat very healthfully. I also believe in cooking my own food and take pleasure in good food, wine, beer, dark chocolate, carbs. I just believe in moderation, not exceeding the amount of calories required to maintain my weight and following a basic exercise routine. It's working for me so far, and still appeals to the fattie inside . Maybe when I get a little older I'll have to watch it a bit, but so far I'm pretty happy with just exercising moderation.
I do cook with only whole and unrefined ingredients and lot of vegetables and think I eat healthier than the average person, but overall I would say I aim for deliciousness first.
edit:
I've also lived on many a juice fast and still occasionally dive back into it. I say cook good food, drink good beer, and exercise

I'be played with it some. I must say that when I stick to a diet richer in alkalizing foods I tend to notice a tangible improvement in my mood. I also find when I get in a rut of ingesting the more acidifying foods, I will often find myself feeling much more negative and dwelling on silly things and stuff. I'm sold that there's something to it. I can't say anything about the accuracy of the chart though except that it seems mostly correct as far as the types of foods having said effect.

Juice fasts only made me lose weight.
At the end of them I would gain a bit when I started eating again, but then would go back to restricting and fasting. I would say when I wasn't juice fasting I was cycling through days where I'd restrict from 200-600 calories of solid food. I would describe it as total and complete hell.
Actually, I guess it was mainly just an eating disorder .
But yah, I still do juice fast usually for only 24-36 hour periods these days, not for weightloss, obviously though.

The chart itself doesn't really make any sense. Oranges are not alkaline. I've seen other charts that list lemons as alkaline.
I'm open to the possibility that an acidic or basic food might have paradoxically basic or acidic influences on homeostasis somewhere in the body; however, these charts never have any citations so you have no way of knowing WTF they're talking about. I'm perfectly open to the possibility that it's a farmer's market advertising conspiracy.
EDIT: scratch that, this chart does corroborate the fact that lemons and limes are the most alkaline thing you can eat.

eating disorders are fucked. look up 801010 if ya feel like it. this is how I feel about fasting. It only makes sense for our bodies to act this way.

Thanks. I agree with what she said on it being somewhat addictive. I never recommend other people fast, nor do I really try to give advice on weightloss in general aside from moderation because my views are so skewed on it and I know that, and I would never wish what I went through on my worst enemy.
Yeah..the scary thing is sometimes I look back on that period of my life with eerie nostalgia, a part of me almost got a high out of starvation, at one point I was super euphoric and sometimes I only remember that part. I forgot about how I almost didn't graduate highschool because I was too weak to go to school, or even walk down the hallway, get into the shower, and manage to sit down to shower so I didn't pass out. It's literally just like trying to avoid relapsing with drugs.
It's also part of the reason why I only learned to cook in the last year, myself. My whole relationship with food has changed for the better, and it is a constant struggle still trying to maintain fitness without starting to slip slowly back into excessive restriction and eventual starvation - but it's part of the reason why I preach healthy indulgence and training yourself to moderate the indulgence.

The part that really shows it is that they list fruit as alkaline and fruit juice as acidic
