All I know are; salty, sweet, sour, bitter and umami.

I believe that it's a taste similar to raw flour.

I Googled cucumic but that isn't a word.
Petrichor is a lovely word but I have only seen it used by way of an online meme about there being a word for the pleasant scents exuded by rocks and plants after rain.

It matters little but I figured cucumic would be the English adjectival form of Cucumis, but given the root word is a Latin form maybe not. Maybe cucumial (looking at adjectival).

Declensions won't get us an adjective.

i believed you for a second, but i did a quick wiki search to check
Quote:
Adjectives
In Latin, adjectives must agree with the nouns they modify in case and number and gender. Because of this, Latin adjectives must also be declined. First and second declension adjectives are declined identically to nouns of the first and second declension. Unless the word in question is in poetry, adjectives are generally placed after the nouns they modify.
i use to have some latin notes, but i cant find them

Latin was one of my favourite subjects before I got expelled and never found my place with it in the new school. Just typing the word declensions was a nostalgic thrill.
Oi, hiddenseek, no! Adjectives do have to agree (is what you just read) but the declension of the noun doesn't give us the adjective. And this has nothing to do with forming an English adjective.

so my first link was proably right, cucumerinus isnt any declension of cucumis as far as i can tell
so it probably is the adjective form
"puella amat cucumerinam cucumerem"
edit: the girl loves the cucumbery cucumber
double edit: i used the feminine accusative case for "cucumbery cucumber"
i thought to use that because the girl was female, but now im thinking i just called the cucumber female
did i do that right?

The adjective agrees with the noun it modifies, i.e., cucumerem. Since the noun is masculine singular accusative, the adjective should be too.
"puella amat cucumerinum cucumerem" "the girl loves the cucumbery cucumber"
