Does a window unit provide enough FAE

I am putting a window unit in a shed that will have a fan recirculating the air. Will the window unit be able to provide enough FAE for oyster mushrooms.
Thanks

You could probably keep this in your other thread regarding the same project.

Window Units do not circulate Fresh Air. They re condition the air currently inside the dwelling and do not use outdoor air. If you wish to have fresh Air install a fresh air damper, but You should be just fine with re-conditioned air.

Window AC? They recirculate air from inside passing it over coils filled with coolant. They won't provide any FAE.

I though window units had a setting where it could pull in outside air and cool it.

I don't think that's what the "exhaust" switch does, although I may be wrong here.

No unless your working with package units that contain Fresh air dampers. All they do is through a sensing bulb sense if the outdoor temp air is colder than the indoor temp and use the outdoor to cool as opposed to using the compressors and refrigerant to cool. Window Units have no option other than recirculating the same air over and over again in either cooling or fan mode.
