Hi it would be great if someone could help me id this mushroom! i have an idea of what it is but i dont want to colour anyones judgement so I won't say for n. any help much appreciated!

Habitat:
Found growing on wood chip on several different sites, usually trooping or in small groups

Gills white- light brown, bruising blue green

Stem:
White stem, quite tough, reddish near base

Cap:
Reddish brown, very slimy, rather delicate

Spore print color:
As far as I can tell it is black

Bruising:
Some blue green bruising

There may be bruising on this mushroom, but it will certainly not be blue. There may be blue/green on the mushroom for some odd reason, but it is not bruising.

We know what this mushroom is.

They are common in habitats compatible with the woodloving Psilocybes in the pacific northwest. If you're in a pacific state or BC, you may want to keep an eye on that and similar areas if you're interested in Psilocybe.
