Ugh, did you get your syringes from that site that puts the black crap in their syringes?

Find a more reputable vendor.

Nobody is buying your SWIM shit, either.

swims dog needs to stop using black shit to inoculate his jars.... discoloration is a huge tell for contams and if ur using black syringes then ur gonna be wondering if its contaminated or not.

i dont think its contaminated.
like i said, that only one jar.
he put a larger amount of solution in that isngle jar as an experiment, if you will.
to test for himself the acceleration of the colonization, as well as fruiting.
assuming it didnt giveway to contams.
all the other jars were supposedly inoculated with 1 mL each.
they are progressing at a slower rate, and show no black staining as in that one jar. even the back side of the jar has considerably less black stains.
but we will see it suppose.

This is out of pure curiosity, and I mean no disrespect. My question is that on this forum is a user is using the SWIM for their posts, does that make their information less useful or less interesting, or degrading? If one is to use the SWIM on this forum, is the general population going to find themselves questioning the posters information or motives? Just a thought.. thanks!

For some reason people will just flame the hell out of you for using swim on this forum. Sure using swim is silly but what does it hurt. I don't see why people get their panties in a wad over it

Looks like he used one of those New Moon syringes.
Sorry but your syringe doesn't look anything like LC..

You might do some heavy studying and reading on the
forum, I'd say someone got over on you from the look
of your MS syringe. And could very well be using some
outdated information. For example your shouldered jars
and amount of spores in your syringe.

**UPDATE**

Okay.
swim isnt concerned with his source, and neither should you.
It is hardly the topic of discussion, so if you werent responding to my questions, why would you even respond?
what works for some may not work for others. deal with it.

Anyways,
i had my doubts after the first week,
but they went away with time. they look very healthy to me,
heres a pic

Anyways, he successfully got his terrarium to stabilize at about 98% humidity at about 67-74 degrees. minding that these conditions were created in the absence of mushrooms, though.
hes got about an inch of h202 and water soaked perlite in the bottom.

So, anyone have any suggestions on casing layers?
would be greatly appreciated.
ive actually learned alot from my first grow this far.
i cant wait for fruiting.
Also, is it possible to mix strains in the same jar/ bulk substrate?

Oh, and ive been reading off and on for the better part of two years now, thats hardly the problem.

i just want helpful opinions and suggestions on my previous questions.
thanks in advance!

-The Dude

***UPDATE

No pics this time, sorry...
anyways, three of the seven jars inoculated on 10/12 are a few days from 100%, gonna try to fruit next friday if all goes well. two jars have id say about 2 weeks left on em.
the other two jars..well they took of great and just slowed down over time, and now theyre stalling like theres no tomorrow..
i might try to birth those, but scrape off al the residual brf and verm from those two jars, and crumble the mycelium from both and mix it with some fresh brf/verm mixture, at the normal ratio for two 1/2 pint jars.
hopefully that will instigate a type of rebirth and promote further colonization.
idk, well see the jars are bummed anyways so its not like they are going to waste.

on another note, the terrarium where i will eventually be birthing my cakes to has started to smell like a swimming pool, to be blunt.
lol, it just smells like straight chlorine, but the rh has been at a stable 90 for atleast two weeks now.
is this normal? i did put some h202 in the perlite.
oh it was about 1 inch of perlite, maybe 1 1/4" and i put about 32 oz of water in the perlite as well.
im most likely going to be dumping it, re sterilizing my tank, and adding new perlite with a smaller amt of h202 or none at all.

to the experienced ones, do you have any experience with this happening? is it a result of just too much peroxide in it?

thanks in advance for any help and/or advice anyone can give me.
