Could just be natural variations.

What are the temps? Its possible there is not enough light. Also get another pink strain and try that.

I agree with Aleon; light seems to affect mushrooms quite a bit when it comes to color development. Temperature will have an effect as well.

To answer some questions: Temp is 67-70 degrees light was left on for over 12hrs. Not sure if I am getting enough light. I have a light about 5' over them with 4 6500k bulbs and another in the room maybe 10' away.Humidity is 87% at a low to a more reg 96% or 97%. They came from Everything Mushrooms.....never had a prob with them before. It is my first time growing pinks

Lower the lights at least a couple of feet if you can. Humidity sounds fine and I've not heard bad reviews about everything mushrooms so I'd bet your strain is fine.

Yeah, light. All oysters are like that.
My pinks got super pink when indoors 6" from a light, 6500k I think, cheap walmart shit. Outdoors in the shade they got little to no color. The only other factor I know of is temperature, for example blues - colder they'll get lots of blue, warmer only a dull gray/white. Pinks as you probably know are tropical so you can't go too low on the temp, so be careful. Wouldn't go below 68f really.

Much agreed Forrester
Temps for blue oyster varieties have much effect on the color they develop.
Light and temperature are key factors for most every mushroom.

my pink blocks are fine, but the logs are slowing down as the temps are dropping off here. I have yet to put my finger on exactly what the problem we are having is, i have the same strain.
are you having abort problems? not sure if it's contam related or what, but sometimes they stop growing and pop out a new pinset off the dying fruits. it looks quite bizzare.

Not that it has much to do with their pinkness, but some of those fruits in the pictures look very dry, or is it just me? Some of my outdoor ones got brown edges like that when it was hot and dry out in the summer.
