ever been considered to have a forum dedicated specifically to monos, PF Tek, and so on?

i guess especially with noobs it would be hard enough getting them to post in certain said forums before being directed to. but, for those that already past doing PF tek, not that im knocking it, wouldnt it be good to have a forum just for certain things. like, trays, monos, even marthas? just saying, sometimes im not very interested in seeing subject lines that say, how is this looking. then i click and its just a PF tek grow. i only did one PF tek grow years ago. i gather i know all there is to know, and could offer up plenty of help, but i get bored of sifting through all the posts only to once in a while stumble upon something more up my alley.
i know we are all here to help and im more than obliged to help given the amount that i have been.
just wondering if its ever been considered, and im sure it has, but figured id throw it out there. i see there are subforums for the Archive, and i never see new stuff thrown in there.
even still regardless, curious as to why there wouldnt be subforums for mushroom cult in general. just sayin

That actually sounds like a decent way to organize things.
Maybe have one for greenhouses, one for monotubs, one for SGFCs, one for invitro bags, etc. There aren't really that many methods out there that get good results, and if we had a forum for each of those methods, we might get less arguments because of techniques that don't overlap.

Does a Mod have that kind of control? What you're referring to would involve changing the actual HTML (or whatever) code that this website is built upon.
If so, I would be down to vote on something like that to stop the bold and underlined.

That would be great provided people used them as intended. Not like the contam forum which is pretty much neglected so people post all their contamed shit in cultivation to get views

i agree with pasty.. nobody useing contam forum.
I like the idea of having Mushroom Cultivation as a main forum and then do contamination inoculation grow log lc/agar g2g ph tek sgfc monotub then misc tek sub-forums and maybe even a experiments subforum to help promote experiments.
but i like the setup now... why fix something thats not broke.

This comes up all the time, but isn't going to happen. Mods would just be busy moving threads posted in the wrong place instead of answering questions. We made a 'getting started' forum to help with some of the noob questions, but they don't seem to use it much. RR

There are a lot of threads about gourmets, contams and identification in the general cultivation because that is where the most users are looking. If it were made a rule or discouraged to reply to those threads, it would probably become less. People just shouldnt resppond to them

I like seeing threads about edibles in mushroom cultivation. It helps to familiarize people with the whole hobby. Nobody is going to learn much in an echo chamber with only similar grows or growers. RR

I agree. These are the kind of things that should overlap.

When I first joined, I wasn't even able to post in there, not that I necessarily needed to, but I did check it out
