Whats up guys, i currently have a dayton sub1200 but was looking into another sub(hsu, svs, or maybe cerwin vega) to pair with the dayton. Im worried about how two different subs in the same room will sound. Should i just get another dayton or go with something else. thanks

No experience with dayton but Cerwin Vegas are the shit, I have two stadium type speakers and they will make your ears bleed in a good way.
But it's always safe to go with the same model you have unless you want a complete upgrade

CV home stuff is garbage now and has been for a while.
OP, If you don't understand enough about sound waves, resonant frequency, and the frequency range@db your current setup has, along with crossovers, room size, and all the other things that can affect sound, I would stick with the same model/brand you have.
Or you can toss your entire system specs and models in this thread and give me a rough idea of what your room shape and size is and I can give it a best guess as to what would cover your setup the best.
(Dayton makes nice subs btw, pricey for what you get but nice nontheless)

I'm going to agree with this. Cerwin Vega is essentially the "frat boy" brand of speaker. Most CV stuff provides big, boomy sound that is loud, but lacks quality.
Try HSU, SVS, velodyne. Tossing out my Vega for an HSU was the single best home theater move I ever made.

I really loved my adire audio but they are out of business now sadly.
Velodyne makes yummy stuff as well.
I agree with most of the brands people have listed so far.
