self love
    #18988404 - 10/16/13 09:31 PM (10 years, 4 months ago)

You've just posted a new thread and it is received poorly. People are not in agreement at all.
Or worse yet no one responds at all. Do you give yourself love? What does it look like?
You're looking for a job and after applying to many places no one has hired you.
Do you give yourself love? What does it look like?
Now you've made a post with 600 responses and its still going. What does self love look like now?
You've just been hired, how are you loving yourself?

Is there power in circumstances? Can circumstances be loving?
If not, why do those situations above feel so differently?
If so, what provides love or lack of love?

Looks like like the feeling of tingling balls but deeper blue/orange and coming in waves of bioelectricity from a direction of the will power and intent.:drooling:

I don't know the answers to all your questions.

Succeeding in life feels good and doing poorly in life feels bad because the relationship of success=survival and failure=death.

On this topic I have found many times I have slipped during a kind of meditation (concentration on a single state or thought) into this deep, amazing ecstasy. My pupils even dilate and looking around the room it is much brighter and has more depth of field. Very interesting, something I hedonistically attempt to return to.

Too much self love looks like Lance Armstrong, too little looks like Sid Vicious. Can you see the difference?

Too much and too little self love look like Michael Jackson. The two extremes become each other I think.

Fate and luck are the same thing, it all depends on how you look at life! Fate being that everything happens for a reason. Luck meaning that life is what you make it.

Nay, he listened to one direction and fondled kids who looked like them... which is hard in Italy... :themoreyouknow:

Love could already be if we did not feel like we can only allow it to ourselves based on how we meet imagined social standards and how validated we feel
