Need help identifying.

These are possibly P.E. cubes. I injected the cakes with a syringe and 1.5 months later this is what I got. I'm not sure that these are P.E. Maybe the supplier messed up and sent me a different one? I feel I should mention that this is the 1st flush, and I've read alot about 1st flushing not being what people expected, but I'm still unsure considering the caps look nothing like P.E., that and the stems are no where near as thick and meaty as the ones I've seen in pictures that I've seen floating around. Here are the pictures:

A Cube is a Cube..Dont worry so much about the "strain"

Its nearly impossible to tell with varying genetics.

Did you order from a shroomery sponsored vendor? Those tend to be very legit.

Either way they're going to be awesome and you got a great flush on your cakes. Enjoy em! :mushroom2: :awesome:

Thank you all. I was actually surprised at how big of a flush and how big the actual shrooms got, specially considering that I'm only using 1/4 pint cakes, not to mention that this is my girlfriend and I's very first grow. If you want to see more of the grow here is a link:

http://www.shroomery.org/forums/showflat.php/Number/18908926

They are currently starting their second flush, which also surprised me considering the size of the cakes, and I plan on updating the above thread when I have some more pictures to show.

Edit: Sorry! I deleted the sponsors name.

:rules:      3.  Spores are sold for microscopy use only so mycologists can ID mushrooms. If you're going to misuse them to grow a controlled substance, keep it to yourself.  Any post which mentions 'such and such' vendor, will be deleted and you'll receive an official warning.  Do not plug non sponsors.

PE will look different from MS. I have seen all shapes and sizes. My question is when they open do they sporulate over everything or are they more stubborn? Lack of sporulation would be a PE trait I believe, at least from my experience that is why we make swabs for PE or syringes

PE usually doesn't drop spores, this is why we usually use swabs and manually extract them.

Okay, this makes me even more sure that I did not get P.E. because the cap I cut from this flush did in fact deposit a decent spore print. Its not dark, actually its pretty light for being left for 30 or so hours, but if you say that they are notorious for not dropping spores, then this makes me feel like my fears are now justified. Thanks for all the help guys.

I got only an eighth of a print out of at least a dozen large caps. I was glad to have already made a ton of swabs.
