going back to win7
    #18994843 - 10/18/13 10:24 AM (10 years, 4 months ago)

:unwanted:

i like how linux runs, but there just isnt enough support suited for someone like myself...

i enjoy the setup and how quick it runs. i like the idea of not needing a bunch of programs just to keep your shit safe and clean. i like that the software manager offers so many FREE programs...

but, im just not ready to take something like linux on.

i am going to miss it and maybe some day soon i might try it out again. hell, i might even dual boot the sum bitch just in case i want to make the switch, again.

Um, why not just dual boot?

Linux has a learning curve. The best way to learn IMO, is to just tinker around with it.
Break something... google how to fix it, fix it.. break something else.. google how to fix it.. tinker around with settings.. get to know terminal commands... etc etc.
Dual boot sounds like the way to go for you so you can switch back and forth when wanted.

I was running Ubuntu for a rally long time but I decided that I want to play some old video games so I installed a pirated copy of XP. It's working great for me.

Did you even sign up to any Gnu/Linux boards? I participate at Linuxquestions.org, and the support that the community offers there, is very helpful.

I always thought Ubuntu was pretty good to get into since it had a huge user base and forum.
Great for problem solving issues.

Then form there you can pretty much use anything if you really get good at it.

Then again I am basing this off of 5 years past experiences. So things probably have changed,.

Then windows 7 came out and I said fuck it. I game to much and win 7 killed XP.

Then

Then I said then

You can dual boot (I'm on Ubuntu + Windows 7) So you have a option of what operating system you would like to run whenever you startup your computer
