It's hard to fail with oyster LC. I'd try to get a few different species/strains to experiment with and see what works best for your conditions.

All right sounds good, I'm sure this has been answered here but when I grow cubes there in 90+ humidity for fruiting. It seems that oyster and most other edibles Dont take that kind of humidity just as long as temps are 70-80 right.. It seemed like a lot of videos on YouTube were showing the substrates after they were colonized just sitting in an area with correct temps and good FAE. Is this correct? Thanks for the help guys.

you would still with most mushrooms need to maintain humidity for fruiting. For a good read on various mushrooms get the 3rd edition Growing Gourmet and Medicinal Mushrooms by stamets. Or for some good free reading try these http://www.shroomery.org/forums/showflat.php/Number/13258605 Those pdf's are just as good, maybe better for the beginner. I don't own a book reader though so the paper copy of GGMM is what I initially went with.

to bigdaddyclint..... oysters in general arent that particular in regards to parameters. they do prefer higher humidity around 90 percent or more but dont require it for primordia formation.

IME oysters seem to prefer higher humidity more for primordia formation but not as much for fruit development, but I'll certainly agree they don't really require it for either. Given enough time, a forgotten substrate in the corner of your room with almost no humidity at all will pin and fruit. Just seems like a rain or raise in humidity will help to induce pinning but IDK Hell they grow wild in Colorado
