It was the only one on the tree. It was a dead tree still atanding. It had shaggy bark wasnt very thick maybe a couple inches around. I didnt find any mushrooms near it. Whatever it is. Im sad I took it. But it looks like something cool

here's a wider shot of the log...

there are some solitary fruits there too, that just might have been the first of many on your tree
and on the other end were these, which i'm trying to look up without much success yet so it may end up a request

i think mine might be Psathyrella but hope springs eternal
if i had to guess, i'd say those second darker amber ones are gallerina... maybe a mod will comment
