Honestly, a guy having a beard has always been a turn off for me. I like the clean cut type, but I suppose I could deal with a little scruff. He would have to be one hell of a guy though! But one time my friend came to school and her upper lip looked completely raw. I asked her why and she said she made out with a guy who had a beard the previous night.
When she told me that, it pretty much confirmed my opinion on guys with beards. But each girl is different and you should do what you like!

My friends have a name for people without beards. We call them "women"

I think there should be a sticky thread for the male shroomerites to get facial hair style advice from the female shroomerites.
I find it really hard to predict which styles will get me compliments and which will not.
From what I've gathered and experimented with though, it is mostly about looking well groomed and neat...

So make a style advice thread in the Ladies Night forum.

Same here, this is how I feel about beards. When I think of guys with beards, they are either hipsters, hippies, homeless, blue-collar, hunters, rednecks, or old geezers. Chances are if you have a beard, you fall into at least one of these categories. None of these remotely resemble me or my lifestyle or my interests, or the type of guy that I look for.
But, some women like mustache rides, or "beard rides," I suppose. I don't understand how anybody could enjoy somebody with facial hair going down on them. It scrapes the skin and does not feel good for me at all. Maybe if their hair felt like fuzzy faux-fur, but that's not what it feels like. It feels like scratchy sticky pubic hair rubbing against your skin like sandpaper. 5 o clock shadow is the worst though, that feels like cactus spines poking at your clitoris.

From a guy's perspective, what is the appeal of having facial hair? I don't really care for it, but a little bit of scruff is okay. IMO, facial hair always makes a guy look older than he really is.

I might. I'll have to take some progress pics first. Unfortunately sometimes I get an assignment for which I feel like I have to shave. I therefore can't always reliably grow. Sucks.

I love it, it is very, very relaxing to stroke it. It makes you feel more manly as well. It is also a lot of fun to experiment with different styles as it can change your appearence quite drastically.

I guess for guys looking older isn't so bad. But it is something I try to avoid as a female.
