Is copper plating equal to FMJ?
    #18991119 - 10/17/13 02:06 PM (10 years, 3 months ago)

So i want to cast my own .223 bullets, but i know that there is an issue with most lead not staying together at the velocity that they fire. and i know some people use a copper plating method for .45/9mm to prevent leading the barrel... so will this work for faster rounds or is the plating not thick enough (maybe some extra treatment will help)

if you don't know and are interested in what i'm talking about... check this out. also i think i will use a type of screen tray if possible instead of hanging by wires, if possible, to get a full plating and for a more simple process:
