Mescaline is the primary psychoactive active ingredient in peyote. There are however many other compounds in peyote that are theorized to be psychoactive or synergistic with the mescaline, but as far as I know it hasn't been very thoroughly studied for a deeper understanding.

Ive always dreamed of actually participating in a tribal kinda ceremony. It'd be cool to venture into the jungle in south america and experience their ceremony.
Unless it ends up similar to the ceremony on Altered States where the dude devolves into a primate and starts eating goats.

I hear the loph is perddy good there...its cheaper than a trip to south America...chrismans right about the capitalism but in the end it is just you,the peyote,and the desert....its gonna get cold at night real soon,you need to literally go now as Wilcox gets pretty cold at night in fall

Yeah I was figuring its a higher elevation that the tempe/scottsdale area. I live in old town and the weather if fucking beautiful today. Idk if i want a day trip or night
