Hey guys, just found these in a local common. Could some please identify these for me?
Thanks
Habitat:
South east UK on a common near woodlands. Horses are kept on the grass common where the mushroom were found growing within he grass
Gills: extremely dark brown/black
Color, attached/not, gills/pores, etc. brownish when picked now turning a golden yellow tinge as drying out.
Stem: Length around 6 cm colour as in picture
Cap: Roughly 1 cm in width. Slight nipple at tip
Spore print color:
Not yet done as they have only just been found
Bruising: Dark green / blue
Other information: They seem smaller than what I was expecting. I picked a small bunch and left the rest as I felt they were on the small side.

They are all Libs

Thanks Daz01 are they at a mature side or should it be left a little longer?

They are fine. If you left some of them any longer they would be rotting.

Indeed. And size is not directly corelated to maturity. These can vary by an order of magnitude in size. If the cap is sort of well opened up and the gills are darkening, they are mature. Even if one is 4x the size of another.

Attn PWN hunters: If you should come across a bluing Psilocybe matching P. pellicolusa please smell it. If you detect a scent reminiscent of Anethole (anise) please preserve a specimen or two for study and please PM me.
