Best way to fruit spawn bags. The way I spawn bags is using a liquid culture. I've tried fruiting bags as large blocks but had issues with the blocks drying too quickly in the center. My favorite fruiting has to do with casings. I use peat verm and lime that I steam sterilize in large jars as a casing mix. I do a bottom casing and a top casing with a well crumbled layer of mycelium. I use a wbs mix as a substrate wbs that I simmer drain a little and add in dry verm and brf the dry ingredients help to soak excess moisture I find. I use spawn bags because its a shit ton of spawn that I fuck up usually. Also spawn bags get rid of fucking clean up. I had a lot of problems with contaminations because I sealed the bags after I pcd. Best results sealing the bags prior to pressure cooking.... it is dangerous even with a plate on top the bags can push the plate to the side also tightly packing the bags will cause them to burst. If the plate slides the bags can clog your release and that shits scary. So I seal the bags and then tape the tops of the bags down to the bottoms and put a plate on top. I only cook about 2 at a time in a 23qt pressure canner. Pressure canners are the shit very affordable. I let the bags cool overnight and put a square of duct tape(injection) opposite the filter patch. I do inoculation work in a still box that's easy as hell to make. A hole saw and drill are awesome tools I recommend for fruiting tubs, jar lids, and all types of handy shit. Just a 4in hole saw(you will need an adapter bit)

Even in still air I use a flap of tape to quickly seal injections as soon as I pull the needle. I use 10cc of lc to inoculate a spawn bag I try to cover the surface of the substrate. When the top colonizes I crumble well and shake well to create new inoculation points after that I leave them to fully colonize. I like to try fruit in dishwashing tubs or large monotubs. Even still its difficult to dial in humidity. air exchange and lighting.
Was strolling through ACE and saw these 4oz jelly jars that I like. Wbs no verm layer, tape injection I lost a few to contams but most of them colonized well .
