Are these aborts or bruising? 2nd flush w/pics

Hey all, had great success with my 6 brf cakes, nearly 200g wet for my first time. Potency seems a bit low though. Anyway, couple questions on how my cakes are doing after the their dunk for the second flush.
1. How tiny of a pin do you try to remove? All 5 harvested cakes have bruising and I can't tell if the old pins are aborts or worth trying to grow. If I should remove them, what is the best way to do so without causing further bruising?
2. One of the cakes has a bit of brown/tan growth on top, no pins sprouted there. Any ideas what caused it/how to prevent next time?
3. Is there a better method to do a dunk than sitting the cakes upside down in a pot with a plate on top? I feel like I'm either damaging or not fully submerging them depending on the weight of the plate.
4. I'm going to try my first spore print off the big one pictured below. Will the cracked cap make a difference? Also, I think the rest of the fruits on that cake are still growing - should I wait to remove the big one? Its veil just broke a few hours ago.

They are aborts when the caps turn black.
That brown spot is mold, toss that cake.
Idk about a better method, hopefully someone else can help you here.
The cracked cap shouldn't make a difference in printing. Someone said the other day that he noticed that every time he cuts a fruit off that has broken veil, the others that haven't broken veil just open and stop growing, but you do need to cop that one off somehow before it drops spores all over. Sorry I don't have more advice for you.
Welcome to the shroomery.
