I've tripped on them 7 times in the past 2-3 months and each trip was wildly different. Definitely a great strain

Cubes a cubes Only difference in the experience is in you... Not the mushroom Comes down to Set and Setting
PE is a mutant but is just stronger potency wise... Same chemicals
Just my 2 cents

Cube isn't a Cube to me, some other staffers, and some other people here as well. I know that's the live or die credo here (a cube is a cube), but i've used the same set and seting hundreds of times, different batches of the same strain, and consistent results always. Friends i've given zero feedback to on strains report the same kind of high as well. While "a Cube is a Cube" may be true for some, or many, it's not an absolute truth for all, despite how forcefully others here will try to impose their view of the subject on you. (No i'm not debating this, for the cube is a cube camp hooray, that's true for you, we all have different brain chemistry and genetic make ups, so have a good day!).
For Cubensis....
1. Transkei (Amazing body high, great visual, tremendous feeling of euphoria/bliss, no mindfuck, great potency, always consistent)
2. Cuban (produces a very warm feeling body high, music iz beyond orgasmic, very strong visuals and high, very positive vibe, really potent, party type of buzz, does make you feel physically hot though, always)
3. Vietnam (happy, but intense up high, a little mind fuck, intensely visual, green really stands out in every trip with them)
4. Quezon (surprisingly strong, good feeling high, visuals can be rather intense, can become overwhelming)
5. Mazatapec (weak potency always, but awesome trip, just have to up the dose, very mellow and subdued experience)

^^ Agreed. Personally I love Thai Koh Samui, they have an amazing body high, very mild visuals and are just great to rage on.
Penis Envy will kick your ass, mentally and visually. When it comes to potency mutants/albinos will always rip your reality.
Golden Teachers I think are a great balance of visuals and body high but can also give a decent mind fuck as well.
If you grow anything just save all your aborts and you will have an amazing time.

I can agree on PE being a mindfuck. I've tripped off 2.5-3.5gs of other shrooms that came no where close to the mental journey that PE took me on... I may be biased though as my shroom experience is limited

my favorite to grow so far i AA+
any and all differences are subjective.
power of suggestion is likely the only variable between all psilo containing mushrooms, not including potency.

I agree with you in part.... If you want to believe there is a difference based on strain, more power to ya. So much of tripping is based on subjective evaluation... nestled between dose, set and setting... To each their own.... Diverse opinions make a good community
But... A Species is a species though... Thinking of biology.... I can not think of one good reason why there would be a effect difference based on 'strain'... Each strain would need different chemicals... Sooooo... It sounds like 'strains' are by themselves subjective... Any one mushroom can produce varying 'strains' .... At least according to Paul Stamets
Not going to argue... Really don't care I suppose, People still believe in god, miracles, big foot, loc ness monster and lemon tek...who am I to say they are wrong.... We all have our belief systems...
Peace

People also say there's a qualitative difference between bridgesii and pachanoi, but if there is I haven't noticed it. They seem qualitatively identical. But bridgesii has indeed proven itself to fucking beat ass in comparison in terms if potency.

I love me some ovoids....no comparison to cubes IMHO. Very gentle on the come up with a amazing peak. Ever since I found some wild ovoids...have not once tripped on home grown cubes. Just my experience though. M

Does every strain of cubensis have the same amount of chemicals? We all know psilocybin and psilocin vary but how about the other active chemicals in mushrooms like - (baeocystin, norbaeocystin) I'm sure there are other actives found in shrooms that vary between strains...

I've seen the comment "a cube is a cube" many times but I personally have had different experiences with different strains.
So far my personal favorite is Cambodian, for me they have been more intense on all levels. Bright orange/reddish CEV when the buzz really starts to kick in and then they really catapult the mind/spirit to the outer reaches.

all psilo mushrooms produce the same active chemicals.
any difference is subjective to the person, dose, set and setting and preconceived notions to name a few variables.
