SWIM got these in Southern California today, I don't really know any information about them, and This is going to be SWIM's first time shrooming.
First of all, is that enough for 2 people? the guy said it was enough for 3?
Can anybody identify the type or if they're even legit?
SWIM paid $40 for this.
Thank you!

Psilocybe cubensis, they are hallucinogenic

Looks like cubensis possibly. Guessing what dried mushrooms are is difficult though. You saying you bought these without questioning them first?

yeah, I should have asked, but I was kind of out it to be honest.

Is there anymore information I could provide about them that would make them easier to identify for you guys?

They are Psilocybe cubensis. Research that species and its potency and use a scale when dosing.

Well as long as you can see bruising on the stems (bit of darkish areas) you should be ok. I just dont have much experience with cubensis and i've never seen caps that orange before.

Looks like it could be about a quarter zip. If they are decently potent(and it is a 1/4) which they likely are it's enough for 3 or 4 people, with low tolerance, to fry their balls into space. Unless anyone has the weird and rare phenomenon of not having much reaction to them usually due to being on antidepressant type drugs(think zoloft, effexor, etc..., but this is not everyone who is on these drugs & I couldn't even venture to guess the percentage), sometimes very recent binges on some recreational drugs(not pot) and most puzzlingly some people have this very low sensitivity to mushrooms for no identifiable reason.

Definitely. That's the most common cap color(and it can vary greatly) for cultivated specimens of this species, at least after drying.

Enjoy your adventure! A last piece of advice, try to avoid tripping with or around people who you tend to find yourself playing social games around, or who you think do so around you. If you catch what I mean by social games. You want to feel at ease so you can relax and be yourself without worry.
Welcome to the Shroomery!
