Your welcome bud! I find the Coprinellus micaceus often. Check these pics out  they are said to be a good edible if you catch them before they start turning inky. Ive never tried them but they are good in omelets i read.

1 Panaeolina foenisecii or Panaeolus cinctulus. Check for a jet black (not extremely dark brown) spore print to confirm the latter, and please post bigger pics in future.
2 Panaeolus cinctulus EDIT: Please post a shot of the cap.
3 Coprinellus micaceus

EDIT: I just noted your spore print description, apologies. So P. foenisecii for those, not active.

Thanks. I'm afraid that, with the brown spore deposits on caps in the background, confirms P. foenisecii.

xfsketch, Psathyrella prints dark, sometimes black.

1200, cheers, I'm actually not won over as yet, a really clear one from above might help.

Since it is just the one, I don't feel too bad saying it would be great if a better TI felt confident to ID it.

Pretty much all I'm doing, especially since they've given me the badge and it's presently other stuff I should be getting on with that I'm not. :hatsoff:
