Just need a recap

So Ive made Tubs using liners , Am i supposed to cut excess liner off when i make them or fruit them
Also do i Fruit them when i see pins
Or when its fully colonized i fruit them to get pins
its been like 3 months since ive dont a tub and i forgot XD
Any help would be appreciated

Yeah trim the liner for sure and put the monotub into fruiting conditions once it has reached 100% colonization.

Thats when I can see like no brown from the bulk substrate right?
Also I forget is it bad if it consolidates a bit

I do it when I make them, this way I don't accidentally separate it from the substrate when it matters, defeating the entire purpose of using a liner in the first place.

When it is 100% colonized put it into fruiting conditions.
There is no need to wait until pins pop up...fruiting conditions will aid in this anyways.

Yes, full colonization means the brown coir has been fully colonized by the white mycellium.

There is no need to consolidate bulk substrates.
Fruiting them at 100% works just fine, if not better.
Some will disagree with this....but others will back it up.
All I know is that fruiting at 100% works fine for me, as well as letting it consolidate a bit...I have not really noticed a significant difference either way really....

I just cared about consolidation Cause I believe I have a tub that has been consolidating for a few days which ill fruit
And you're right it should be like riding a bike , I did everything else just fine but I kinda totally gaped this part
