Bitmessage - Ultra-Secure P2P Internet Messaging * 3
    #18983207 - 10/15/13 08:23 PM (10 years, 3 months ago)

Bitmessage is a way of sending messages that can't be tracked or intercepted. The privacy laws of many countries extend no protection to so-called communications metadata, or the details of the parties in contact. Bitmessage provides this privacy through peer-to-peer technology that is inherently safe from such spying, because there is no centralized server that can be compromised, nor do messages go directly between those in communication.

No democracy would accept the current levels of Internet surveillance in a café or other offline venue. People who value their freedom of association can wait for the laws to be reformed, or they can stop using communications that are vulnerable to spying.

Bitmessage is a protocol like Bittorrent, there are clients available for Linux, Windows, and Macintosh. The more popular it becomes, the better it will work.

He's basically a poorly drawn knockoff of Goofy from the Disney cartoons.
