Marijuana and Meditation

I should note that my meditation is already kinda strange without Marijuana.
I smoked some Marijuana and meditated. It was very pleasant and insightful and it was quite quick that I ended up losing my body awareness.
I think that was the first time I ever lost my body awareness completely while retaining consciousness. Does anyone else have similar effects from meditation and marijuana use?

Yeah meditating on marijuana is a lot different from meditating sober. I actually usually prefer to do it sober, but occasionally I will do it while stoned and it really can almost blast me off into some pretty psychedelic experiences.

I think I prefer it without marijuana as well.
But I think if I'm ever in terrible pain, I'll just get a bit high and start focusing on my breath. My body will disappear, sort of, and no more pain! lol.
Of course that is arguably not the best thing to do; I at least know it is an option.

I do about half and half. Sometimes I really enjoy the extra effect of marijuana - it allows me to go deeper.

I hate meditation without cannabis. With it I can't seem to focus on meditating. Ha. Oh well.

I can usually slip into a deep meditative state with or without marijuana, but I find that it can make achieving a higher state of consciousness while losing body awareness very easy. For me, it allows me to reach a state of comfort and relaxed body, which makes the transition into deeper brainwaves much more smooth and simple.

I have very little experience with marijuana actually. This is just a new development after delving a little deeper into hallucinogens. It is nice to hear that other people have similar experiences.
Are you able to reach a complete loss of body awareness via pure meditation minddrips?

The total loss of body awareness for me usually takes a bit when I meditate. I often have to descend somewhat slowly when sober, cleansing my chakra and my thoughts as I slip deeper into the meditative state, but marijuana seems to speed this process up for me. Given enough time I can usually achieve loss of body awareness though, sober or stoned.

I'm impressed and motivated.
Thanks for sharing.
Of course loss of body awareness isn't "the goal", but I don't suspect it is a hindrance, if used correctly, to a true calm without attachment.
