Microdose experiment for neuroplasticity effects?

Hi fellow earthlings, Through out my life since I was 3 I've had a moderate stutter. Chronic stuttering is often misunderstood so let me explain in short. You know exactly what you want to say but you can't get the sound out because your vocal cords are locked shut. Most stutters deal with these locked up cords by trying to push through the sound hence where the actual repetitions come in.
Over the past couple of months I've been really focusing on self acceptance and tackling the social anxiety stuttering has brought upon me which has been life changing. Although I'm not stutter free, I now consider myself a mild stutter in 99% of situations. Although I'm more fluent, my fears and habits of how I used to act still occupy my mind from time to time.
I almost have 2 cakes of Psilocybe cubensis grown and am planning to microdose, go out in public and talk to strangers. Aside from a self insightful nature I'll have into myself while I'm speaking with another, I hope that psilocybe's extraordinary neuroplasticity (claimed through overwhelming suggestive evidence) will help rewire and desensitize my stress reactions.
Do any of you have experience with micro-dosing and can suggest a dose? Is there any other medicine that has supposedly stronger neuroplasticity or and healing effects on psychosomatic disorders?
Any other tips/comments/suggestions/experiences are very much welcome.
Infinite bliss

Sounds like it might actually work, keep us updated. I love to see others experimenting with medicinal psyches.

I believe that this is fully possible. James Fadiman reported in his book "the psychedelic explorer's guide" in chapter 5 page 79 what other health benefits there might be from use of psychedelics:
"My stuttering of many years has disappeared."
And there are more examples.

I've had some experience with micro-dosing and I think it could help, but there no real way to know for sure until you experiment. Try 0.5g steeped in tea to begin with as a control dose and adjust up or down from there.
good luck man

blindfool (i feel a tad mean calling u that ) thank u for the specific share, I'm gana buy that book after I finish with my other psyc books:)
Thank you everyone for the warm words. I have yet to meet an asshole in this community, you guys are great!
For any of you interested... Psilocybin's effect on OCD and Turrets are being studied right now at the John Hopkins University. The results through even a one time dosage are beyond awe. WIth some of the patients their compulsions have been completely eradicated! For others majorly decreased. Notably enough, OCD, Turrets, and stuttering stem from the same gene mutation in recent studies. Psychologically speaking, OCD, Turrets, and stuttering are eerily similar in many ways.

John Hopkins University is where I'm thinking of getting my phd in biomedical engineering. Glad to see they are studying psilocybin to this day, it will make it a lot easier to research it when I and everyone else interested in this stuff end up going there.
if anyone is interested: http://www.bme.jhu.edu/graduate/phd/overview
I use to think I was dumb and destined to just get a job, get married, have kids, and die.

someone recommended .5g, that is hardly a microdose, that's just under threshold, will keep you in that weird feeling of not quite tripping, but not quite sober, just feels weird, its been widely accepted that around .2 grams is a perfect microdose for most everyone, keeps you well under actual tripping, but for whatever reason, at this tiny of a dose, you really feel it, almost more than you would feel .35. when I microdose I almost always take about .17, its perfect for me, I also notice interesting cumulative effects, the more days I do it, the more my head seems to wrap around social situations and everything in general, I wouldn't go to far above .2 grams if I were you, .21 was actually a very nice dose, but that was after weeks of doing it everyday, and a bit of a tolerance built up, you will also notice some trippy effects at first, on the comeup especially, but you build a tolerance to the trippy effects, and are just left with a very smooth stimulant effect, and still some mind expansion. I really do believe this will work if you stick to it, not necessarily the first day, but microdosing is my favorite thing ive found in a long time, its awesome. good luck.

Don’t worry about my nickname I definitely deserve it. It does not stand for my overall intelligence, rather to a specific think which I should have spotted. One day I might explain.
Can you post some links to these studies?

Hell yeah Sage hope you decide to go through with that PHD, im working towards a cognitive science degree, don't know if hopkins offers that but i see they have systematic neuroscience so they better have more around that genre. Might see you there in the future without knowing it:) I sympathize with future pessimism, I was in that loop for a long time.
SOLO u are a gem, thank you for your wisdom, definitely gave me a good idea on what to try:D
Blind fool can't find the exact one I'm talking about atm but here are a few links to others done:
