Cant birth cake whole

I made a small mistake with the PF tek. I have 12 jars fully colonized but I didn't use the right type of jar. The jars are wide mouth half pint jars, but the mouth is not as wide as the base. I am attaching a picture of the jar shape. Anyway, I would like to birth and fruit these ASAP but I'm unsure how to do it. I suppose my only option is cutting each cake into chunks and then removing the pieces from the jar. Can anyone recommend a better solution? What seems like the best course of action for these jars? Thanks guys!!

Well, you could either break the jars to get them out....not recommended.
Or you can rinse off the dry verm layer and spawn them to a bulk substrate.
I would go for the latter.

Im a little confused about what you are saying. By rinsing off the dry verm and spawning do you mean to break them up and spawn or grow them right out of the jars?

I mean rinse off the dry verm layer under a faucet while still in the jars, then break them apart and crumble them to mix with pasteurized bulk substrate material.
Or break the jars and fruit them as whole cakes.
These are really your only 2 viable options considering the jars you used.
I mean you could also crumble them and add a casing layer in a pan, but that would not yield as much as spawning to a bulk substrate.
