ID request - suspected non-active look-alikes west of portland

Came across these guys on a bike trail 40mins west of Portland. At a quick glance, they almost had me fooled...but a closer inspection brought me back down to earth. Sorry, no spore print...didn't bring any home with me. Looking at the gills, spores seem to be pale brown. Habitat was well shaded bike trail amongst wood chips and coniferous mulch. Stem was also a very pale brown, no noticeable bluing after handling.
Not sure if this is enough info for a proper ID, but open to an educated guess. Thanks all.

Ouch. Those appear to be Galerina. Good thing you were paying attention.

Attn PWN hunters: If you should come across a bluing Psilocybe matching P. pellicolusa please smell it. If you detect a scent reminiscent of Anethole (anise) please preserve a specimen or two for study and please PM me.

Definitely, that blackening stem in the 3rd pic is a dead giveaway.

You are a smart hunter! A shining example for all who so badly want to believe every mushroom must be psychedelic and must be eaten immediately so as to trip. Way to buck the trend.
I will give you +5 for being smart.

I come across these often, I usually look for the white ring to determine that they aren't what I am looking for "cy's"

Don't let that be all you go on, but this is handy, for several reasonably similar species common in P. cyanescens habitat have this feature some times.
Of course they often do not.

Of course they often do not.
Also the stem isn't as white as a cy, and is often softer and somewhat slightly hollowed inside.
I've yet to put a bad shroom in my bag, but just in case I usually go through them and make sure they are blueing and their stems are as tough as soft wood

Thanks for the kind words. I've never received so much recognition for doing so little It's definitely a worry to think some would be so eager that they gloss over some obvious, yet potentially life saving details.

G. marginata. You can see how someone could get confused. Scary stuff.

None have a ring that I can see and all have white marginal velar remnants, so I think these are a Tubaria.

This feature is not uncommonly absent in members of this complex. This is one of the reasons it was thought to represent several distinct species.

This is the compelling one here, and It's very pronounced. I think you are right.
The marked stem darkening in the one specimen is interesting. Do you think this represents a mixed collection/observation?
