trich easy fix

OK, so I had 3 large trays that contamed w/ trich, all though I did get a pitiful flush. It was my first larger scale attempt and the jars came from someone else who suspected that they may have been from contaminated LC,even though they looked and smelled fine to me. I couldn't bare to toss them. I planted them under a tree and covered w peat and some nutrient rich dirt, as well as some straw and grass to keep it from drying.(as it was a bit of a drive to h20 them) a week later I dug it up and layered it into a large plant pot w/ a little more straw and dirt. couple weeks went by and nothing. it was getting in the 50's at night, so I brought it in house and placed it next to my other tubs with grow light 12/12 just for GP's. Next thing I know, I have shrooms fruiting. The ones in the pic are 2 days old and growing so fast. I expect they will be good size. I give them optimal conditions: fan, mist, temp, light, shotgun and mono's and ok results aside from some contams in the beginning, but give them some dirt and no attention and they flourish..WTF? Seems crazy to me as this is not an outdoor bed. But for those who have trich..Try this and you will be amazed. Hope this help those frustrated w/ the green enemy:)

Newbie here, why is it that when jars become contaminated with trich people suggest to bury them outside?

Its best to open them outside so you don't fill your home with the contaminating spores. Burying the cake is a last effort to see if you can getting anything at all from it without contaminating your home or grow space. Implying you live in a decent area with the right weather to do so.
Every time I buried a cake or other leftover colonized substrates outside animals seem to dig them up.
I love the home flower pot idea. But not so ideal or worth anything more than the amusement.

Also because the conditions inside a FC or a jar would only make the mold grow more quickly. There are also more competitors outdoors and 100 little mold colonies is easier for the mushrooms to compete with than one large mold colony.

because trich doesnt like the outside conditions. This was my first attempt at buring comtam, but that what I understand. The are put in a pot with a little poo, peat, straw, layered with the contamed sub. Pot is about 18" tall so the sub is super deep. There are now in the house under a grow light like a regular potted plant because of the night temps.
