Habitat: All specimens collected were coming from pine straw covered ground in north georgia. All of which were near dead pine logs.
Bruising: Only one specimen bruises a different color which is the one pictured first. Flesh is blue/bruises green. Gills are reddish and bruise red/brown. All others pictured simply bruise darker.
Other information: None of the specimens have a bitter or off-putting smell. The coral has little to no smell. The velvety purple/rust colored specimen(pictured 2nd) smells earthier than all the rest. http:// . http:// http:// http:// http://

the first one looks like an edible russula, whose name escapes me at the moment, and the second one look like some blewits. although you ought to wait for a more positive id than my own

1. looks like Russulla deliciousus-edible R. paradoxus 2& 3 are Cortinarius 4. Maybe Lacrymaria 5. Ramaria. Might be edible.

This looks right.
Ganzig good call, the coloring of cap and gills are spot on
but the size is a bit large and the wrinkles are throwing me off
i am pretty certain this is not a lacrymaria
unless it has been drying awhile and it wrinkles like that
never dried one out
I am sort of a "Lacrymaria aficionado"
as Lacs pop up all over my backyard.
