So I take it that no one here is exceptional or thinks that freedom makes America exceptional ?

I don't see any reason to believe America is exceptional, certainly a powerful nation at this particular moment but anyone with half a brain knows that won't last forever.

As far as I go, I wouldn't say I'm exceptional. There are certain things I've been able to successfully compete in, but at the end of the day there are no exceptional people. Only dead people.

I totally agree with you , I was amazed at how many people think that america is exceptional and how they think there freedom makes it exceptional .I'm looking forward to see what is going to happen on the 17th when the government can't replay its debt and see how exceptional they feel then .

How long do you think this can go on and is this the start of what could break America up into individual state that no longer want to be united ?

Scary thoughts here, things can get ugly if the world's super power is put in too awkward a position. Personally I just think we should void the debt and hang / seize the various bank's assets, not because they're corrupt or have ripped us off, that's possibly the case but really just rob them

There might be trade issues after that but what exactly are we working towards? More unpayable debt, selling parts of our country? fucking aye before I'd ever consider prostituting myself I'd just rob a few people. Thankfully I manage my finances far better than our government does and don't have to resort to either.

I just hope for the sake of the U.S people they don't just raise the debt curtain to the next ridiculous figure .I'm British and work for a large U.S firm here in UK and this is even starting to seriously effect us now .

They should have scraped the current monetary system years ago as it's is based on debt driven by greed .When country's can't pay there debt any more that should be a sign for change .

Could the US be next to follow on from Greece ?

America is the place for freedom and for following your dreams to their successful conclusion.  Our work ethic and independence makes us greater than any other nation on the planet.  Nobody else even comes close.

America has an exceptional revolving door jail system.

Thats such a stereotypical brainwashed american view:rolleyes:
Thankfully more people are realizing our drones are killing innocent civilians and that the politicians have no interest in peace or helping the common people.
