I don't see the bluing and their short stature along with the cortina on the smaller one has me thinking Cortinarius but I could be wrong.

right. I don't think it's Gym, I did pick some Gymnopilus spectabilis in Minnesota, but only in the spring they are active.

Only active in the spring?
I think your first pic could be some actives if that's what you are looking for,any bruising?

This sounds like questionable folk-wisdom.

I've heard similar things about A. muscaria.

Anyway; that first picture is G. aeruginosus, or close enough for me.

I have no idea what 2 and 3 are at the moment.

Yes, it's an active Gym.

to be honest, the first one wasn't attractive at all when I saw it. I thought it some kind of pholiota. but right now it look more like Gymnopilus to me. I should go back pick them up.

Cool! I agree that the Gymnopilus look a whole lot like aeruginosus. Designnner, would you consider saving some dried material for analysis?

I'd like to the micrographs that led you to that conclusion. Those really look like Gymnopilus to me.
