Habitat: Where does it grow? Eg. woods, pasture, state, province, country, altitude, etc. What does it grow on? Eg. soil, dung, wood (dead, living, what kind of wood?), etc.
There was a large patch under an oak, pine and fir tree. There was a compost pile undernieth.
Gills: Color, attached/not, gills/pores, etc.
white, unattached,
Stem: Length, diameter, color, texture, hollow/solid, thin/thick, etc.
white at first. then after veil breaks its white above the ring, turning brown below the ring. The ring its self is thick and droopy.
Cap: Diameter, color, texture, conical/spherical, convex/concave, etc.
light brown when young , splitting radially in age. covered with small brown warts
Spore print color: Very important!
white
Bruising: Color that the mushroom bruises, if any.
none noted
Other information: Scent of the mushroom, anything else you think is important, large close-up pictures showing stem, cap and gills.
i am kinda at a loss for this one, is it an amanita or a bloody lepiota? I dont know thats why I a asked ones who know more then I. I admit that I totally thought it was a Lep so I didnt try to dig a volva.

Damb son, nice one!! Its listed with the old name in mushrooms demystified's key , but says from eastern north america and south west which I am not either of those!
And apparently its another species that is poisonous with alcohol consumption.
