I have been looking to start growing, I know all of you shroomers have years of experience so i was trying to find the cheapest way to grow good shrooms. Exactly what would i need, and if there are any tips that could help along the way.
Any and all suggestions on how to get the best home grown shrooms for the cheapest cost would be appreciated

I would also recommend that you take lots of notes. A grow journal will save you money because when it all goes wrong, you can answer the questions of the experts, and not repeat your mistakes.

This is critical.......if you want to get better. And don't do anything when you're too fucked up to take notes or think clearly it will probably not end well.
The videos referenced above are the crucial first step!

Make LC and don't be stingy with it. There is virtually no limit to how much of this stuff you can make with a single spore syringe. I use 2-3 ccs per jar and it's a whole lot faster than 1 cc of spores.
I realize there are "better" methods than LC, (G2G/agar) but both those methods require more experience and tools than MS inoculation, whereas LC hardly requires a thing more than you'd already have if you were using straight spores.

You need to do brown rice flour and verm jars also called BRF PF TEK. Basically you will need a case of half pint WIDE MOUTH jars, some brown rice flour, some vermiculite, water, some 3m micropore tape, a drill to put four holes in each jar lid, a large clear plastic tote, a .25in drill bit and a grid you to also follow so you can make your shotgun chamber. Once you have a shotgun fruting chamber or SGFC fill it with 4 inches of rinsed perlite. That should pretty much do it. Total of about a 50 dollar investment not including your syringes.
YOU DO NOT NEED A PRESSURE COOKER FOR BRF!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Spores are by far the worst way to start an LC.
Just sayin, that is not his best option, and it is not really recommended.

watch RR's videos.
take notes from the forum and from the videos.
use the search bar.
decide wether or not you want to skip PF tek & go straight to grain or do PF tek a couple times to get your feet wet.
here's a link to a bunch of teks I have tried along the way.
be patient. good luck

Everything you need to grow can be found around town and on this site. I invested 100 dollars into the supplies and equipment necessary and made my money back within a week after my first flush. Good luck and happy shrooming
