Psychedelic Genius Revival

Okay so I have a hypothetical question/game. Here's the deal, you have the power to bring back one man from the grave. The catch is that neither of you will ever be able to die and the guy you choose must have a known history of using psychedelics. You can also choose someone who is still alive.
I imagine that most people will choose Mckenna or Leary or perhaps Huxley or even Crowley, maybe Shulgin, Rogan, Black, Hoffman, ect ect.
I personally choose Hunter Thompson. He actively fights society in ways that we can only dream. It'd be an honor to grab a Harley, a .38special and ram through the gates of hell at 110MPH, throw his soul a bottle of bourbon, shoot the devil in the face and come back roaring to earth only stopping to do the occasional line of cola while we discuss how we're gonna turn the world upside down.

Hunter S. Thompson is one of the first people I thought of...
Playing a lot of music though, it would be awesome to hang with Jimi Hendrix and put doses in our headbands then just blues out in a park somewhere ripping our vocal chords and fingernails doing music.

Jimi Hendrix, without a doubt. We would jam and trip our way through the eons. Fucking sage, man.

Alexander Shulgin. He is definitely one of the leading scientists in his field of research. He has discovered hundreds of psychoactive drugs and tested them all himself. His books have inspired thousands of talented chemists around the world supplying you with his creations. If he could live another century on this earth imagine what he could create with the technologies that will be developed in the future. He is my religion.

Hendrix would be awesome since I just started learning guitar. Shulgin didn't specifically test every substance he created though although most he did consume. Lots of others were from volunteers.

wtf shulgin died? i think he is still alive, albeit it quite old and with some health issues.
i think i might agree with picking hendrix. the others may get to give some more perspective on psychs but it about stops there since there's unfortunately no place in academia for psychedelics. hendrix could at least have a longer opportunity to melt our faces.

Yeah, I picked Hendrix because I'm putting more value into having a good time than learning about my brain's mental process whilst tripping.

Haha, well that's a great pick. Thompson could change the world though. He's a warrior. Hendrix is a leader though but only through AMAZING music. McKenna would be a good leader although he's so zany i dont know many who'd follow him and he's less assertive than Thompson. I would t trust Leary, he's an egomaniac that would sell you out, IMO.

Thomson or Kesey, I'd prefer both though.

If we're talking about a real genius, I don't think any of those people can hold a candle to Terence McKenna...
He gets extra points in my book for being highly original. Nobody can touch the freestylin content of some of his raps.

i'd put jason silva up there. along with neil degrasse tyson. although he may not be so "psychedelic", he is definitely a proponent in spreading knowledge of the oneness and interconnectedness of the universe

Damn, I forgot about Kesey. I read the Electric Kool-Aid Acid Test and simply listening to his stories around a campfire would be amazing.
