PNW blue bruises

Habitat: Olympia, WA area rainforest. Fallen logs, probably douglas fir, mulch, ferns, maple leaves; found a few in a small cluster, a few singles scattered about. Really damp, it's been raining quite a bit.
Gills: Light brownish/tan gills, bruise dark blue
Stem: Most of them were about 1-2 inches long, little less diameter than a tube of chapstick, same as gills, kind of tough but would break easily with bending or squeezing. They're mostly not hollow, though some of the longer ones seem to have a hollow space in them.
Cap: 1-2.5" diameter, sort of an orange-y brown/gold and there was kind of a distinct pattern of lighter/darker rings. Some variation in shape, most look pretty typical, like crimini shape, but one or two are almost funnel shaped. They were kind of slimy when I found them, not extremely so, and it might have been from recent rains.
Spore print color: Underway, been sitting under a jar for about 2 hours now (10:20pm, pacific)
Bruising: Blue! The pics kind of show up green, but it's pretty blue in person.

Holla if ya need more pics Spore print on the way Much gratitude going your way
Quick edit: Smearing a little piece of stem around on a paper plate left some pinkish residue. It dried up and went away after a while, but it was there.

Lactarius rubrilacteus.
They can be a pretty tasty edible. Sometimes they are nasty.
Not psychoactive though.

Attn PWN hunters: If you should come across a bluing Psilocybe matching P. pellicolusa please smell it. If you detect a scent reminiscent of Anethole (anise) please preserve a specimen or two for study and please PM me.

If what looks like red latex is actually orange then they would be Lactarius deliciosus, a mushroom who's only major difference from what I said above is that it's latex is a different color.

Ah, thanks for the reply! Total PNW/wild mushroom noob. Too bad they're not active, was kind of excited, but I'm glad they're edible, I'll do some research on preparation. I was hunting chantrelles when I found them, anyway. And by hunting chantrelles, I mean wandering around the woods with my jaw dropped. lulz

Remember the younger and firmer ones will be less nasty. They will also have less fly/gnat larvae in them.

sometimes you'll go to pick one up, and it'll just fall in half and a pile of larvae will fall out.

One of the reasons I have never eaten these.

You were right the first time due to the reddish color and douglas fir needles.

I couldn't really get brave enough to eat them, either... Found a big lobster the next morning though
Spore print didn't come out, just kind of a pinkish ring that dried right up and away, but it looks like y'all are pretty much at consensus, anyhow.
