I'm afraid your pictures aren't loading for me.
I must confess, it is refreshing to see an Amanita pantherina identification request originating from an area where that species actually occurs.

I seem to be having problems getting embedded images to load at the moment site-wide.
I can see them if I open them in a new tab.
A. pantherina var pantherina looks perfectly reasonable for those.

The first ones are Amanita pantherina due to the collar on the top of the vulva, annulus and brown caps with white spots.
The last pics could be Amanita virosa, but the way that the universal veil is breaking up on the cap on the pic on the left makes me wonder if it might actually be one of the species in section Amanita. For Amanita ID requests, it is important to carefully dig up the base of the stipe.
Another way to separate the deadly Amanitas from the not so deadly ones is to check to see if the spores turn purple in iodine. Deadly ones will have spores that turn purple, if the spores do not turn purple that puts them into one of the less deadly sections. You might be able to do this test on a spore print but it is usually done with a microscope.

I would strongly recommend against eating Amanita pantherina. The risk of doing damage to yourself is substantially higher than with A. muscaria.

It's up to you.
I would personally stay away. The levels of muscimol are high enough in A. pantherina, and the natural variation such, that it's easy to consume an uncomfortably high or dangerous amount.

Should be fine if you dose lightly and don't redose before the effects have fully kicked in. After a couple hours if you are not feeling much it should be safe to take more.
Its the same drug, just perhaps a bit stronger. As long as you are expecting that, I see no problems.
The same prep for A. muscaria will be fine. I personally fry mine fresh in butter. They are really good that way. I am not totally convinced that the oven thing helps, but it can't hurt.
It would be cool if you tried a few ways and report back as to the differences or lack thereof. I suggest raw, baked in oven, fried in butter, in tea, and whatever wacky ways the hippies on the internet have come up with.

Wonder what lemon juice and onion soak would do? Any bad chemical reaction anyone could think of? Amanita Cevichè.

Sounds like a cool thing to try.
I bet muscaria cerviche would be quite good. I wonder if the lemon juice would turn ibotenic acid into muscamol, and I wonder if that even matters anyway.

well probably not good point lol. I know muscimol is "cleaner" as it will more quickly attach itself to receptors, and you wouldn't have to wait as long to decide whether or not to continue eating.
